Renown mystery author Laurie R. King joined us for a talk on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. King is the author of two popular mystery series -- the Kate Martinelli mysteries, which follow the adventures of a San Francisco detective, and the Mary Russell mysteries, which imagine the sleuthing work of Sherlock Holmes's wife. King discussed her work, her writing process, and her new novel, Pirate King, available in September 2011. Many thanks to the Friends of the Sunnyvale Library for making this program possible!
